Day 1 of a series of daily prompts for written, visual, or art journalling, or just for pondering. For more background information, see the Intro page https://catcharissage.com/2014/10/29/announcing-sixty-days-of-visual-journalling-prompts/, or this post on visual journalling: https://catcharissage.com/2014/07/12/talking-about-journals/.
Today is November 1, All Saints’ Day according to the calendar of the Catholic Church, and a sentiment in many cultures reflected in All Hallow’s Eve (Halloween), Day of the Dead, and on Nov. 2, All Souls’ Day. There’s also the concept of “the communion of saints” of which we are all a part. These celebrations and ideas prompt the question: Who makes up your Soul Tribe? Who are the people who have helped you make your soul shine in the world? Who are the ones who encourage you to be your best? Who can you imagine standing with and saying, “These are my people!” Either list these people’s names or initials, include their names in a circle or web, draw or image them, or use color to show their influence in your life.
With love,
Cat
Oh Cat! What a perfect beginning! You already have my heart and head spinning. I have written:
~Who makes up my Soul Tribe?
~Who are the people who have helped me make my soul shine I the world?
~Who are the ones who encourage me to be my best?
~Who are the ones I can imagine standing with and saying, “These are my people!”
> on a notecard and will carry it around with me letting Spirit move me to what I will place in my art journal.
Words can’t thank you enough Cat for doing this Labor of Love!
